Description
The Entry door access system is a versatile solution that can function independently or integrate seamlessly with Paxton’s Net2 access control platform. This system includes three key components—an external panel, an interior monitor, and a door control unit—that auto-detect during setup for streamlined installation.
The latest Entry Standard monitor features a 4.3″ capacitive touchscreen with the same intuitive interface as the Entry Premium model. Its sleek and classic design allows it to blend into any environment seamlessly. This monitor can be installed on a wall or desk and is available with or without a handset option.
For installation, the components are effortlessly linked using Cat5 or standard RJ45 patch cables. The system can leverage existing network infrastructure for hassle-free deployment. Utilizing Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, it consolidates power and data transmission over a single cable, eliminating the need for separate power supplies.
In terms of operation, a visitor initiates a video call through the bell button on the external panel. Access can then be granted using the monitor’s intuitive touchscreen interface. The monitor allows for communication either through a handset for private calls or in hands-free mode.
When integrated with Net2, building access is further enhanced by allowing entry through the use of a PIN, code, or proximity token.
