**About** – The Entry video intercom system is an advanced solution that can operate independently or integrate seamlessly with access control systems and video management platforms, combining door entry with key features of access control software. The system comprises three components that auto-detect during setup: an external panel, an interior monitor, and a door control unit.
The Entry Premium monitor features a 7″ capacitive color touch screen, offering complimentary concierge management functionality and various personalization options with built-in themes. This monitor can be mounted on a wall or positioned on a desk.
When paired with the Entry Touch panel, the premium monitor facilitates two-way video communication and video voicemail functionalities.
**Installation** – Entry components easily connect using Cat5 or standard RJ45 terminated patch cables. The Entry system can also benefit from existing network infrastructures for straightforward installation. Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology delivers power and data through a single cable, eliminating the need for separate power supplies.
The Entry monitor’s available desktop stand allows it to be conveniently placed on a desk or table.
**Operation** – Visitors initiate video calls through the bell button on the external panel. Access can be granted via the Entry monitor, which features an intuitive touch screen interface. The internal monitor can be used with a handset for private calls or in hands-free mode.
When integrated with access control systems, building access can be granted using various methods such as PIN, code, proximity token, or Bluetooth® smart credentials.
