The Entry door entry system is a versatile solution designed to operate independently or in conjunction with Paxton’s advanced access control systems, Net2 or Paxton10. By integrating door entry functionalities with the core features of Net2 and Paxton10, this system offers seamless security and convenience. Entry comprises three main components that automatically detect and configure upon installation: an external panel, an interior monitor, and a door control unit. This plug-and-play solution provides a variety of panel and monitor options, making it ideal for a diverse range of facilities.
The second-generation Entry Standard monitor is available with or without a handset and can be mounted on a wall or desk. Connecting Entry components is straightforward, using Cat5 cables or standard RJ45-terminated patch cables, and it can leverage existing network infrastructure for an effortless setup. Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology ensures that both power and data are transmitted via a single cable, eliminating the need for separate power supplies. When a visitor presses the bell button on the external panel, a video call is initiated. Visitor access can be managed through the Entry Standard monitor, which features an intuitive, capacitive touchscreen user interface.
