Description

The GT-MCX is a network adapter designed to enhance connectivity across multiple GT Series systems over a network. In its expanded form, a standard system can accommodate up to 16 entrance stations, 4 video guard stations, and 5 tenant stations. By integrating the GT-MCX, you can interconnect up to 32 GT Series systems, thereby expanding the overall system capacity to 48 entrance stations, 96 video guard stations, and 5 tenant stations. The GT-MCX efficiently segments a large system into distinct sections, with the capability of hosting 24 tenant sections and 8 main sections. Tenant sections can include entrance stations, video guard stations, and tenant stations, while main sections are comprised of entrance and video guard stations only. Each GT-MCX effectively substitutes one entrance station and one video guard station. Additionally, the GT-MCX facilitates system updates from the GT Support Tool when part of the same logical network, enabling modification of tenant names and dialing numbers on both guard and entrance stations.
