Description
The Net2 Entry panel is a durable and versatile door entry panel that integrates both access control and door entry functionalities. It utilizes Power over Ethernet (PoE) for power supply and communicates with other system components via the IPv6 protocol, ensuring easy ‘plug and play’ installation. Each panel links to a Net2 Entry control unit, which serves as the interface to the door hardware.
This panel features a keypad and proximity token reader, allowing residents to access the building using either a keypad code or token. Installers can enter menu options with an engineer code or token.
For managing access control functionalities, Net2 software is employed. When configuring unit connections, you have the option to establish a dedicated wired network or (with owner approval) share the building’s existing data network. When using the owner’s network, it’s essential that the system supports the IPv6 protocol and PoE-compatible switches.
