Description
**Overview** – The Entry system is a versatile door entry solution that can operate independently or integrate seamlessly with access control and video management systems, such as Net2 access control or Paxton10. This integration combines door entry functionality with crucial features of access control software. The Entry standard panel, constructed as a durable external component, is designed to work with the Entry system and comes in a widely-accepted anthracite grey (RAL7021), offering an aesthetic match for windows and doors of modern constructions and contemporary apartments.
All Entry panels boast an IPX5 rating, ensuring they are suitable for outdoor use in any weather conditions.
**Installation** – The Entry system components connect effortlessly using Cat5 or standard RJ45 terminated patch cables, and can also leverage existing network infrastructure for straightforward installation. Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology streams both power and data through a single cable, eliminating the necessity for separate power sources.
The surface-mounted version of this panel allows for direct wall installation, ensuring it remains fully exposed. For setups with multiple panel access points, several panels can be linked with an Access Control Unit (ACU).
Additionally, a secondary IP camera can be installed and integrated into the Entry system, enhancing security in areas with limited visibility. This configuration offers the flexibility to switch between the two cameras via the Entry Monitor.
**Functionality** – Visitors can initiate a video call using the bell button on the external panel. Access can be granted through the Entry monitor, which features an intuitive touchscreen interface. The internal monitor is versatile and can be used with a handset for private conversations or in hands-free mode.
When connected to advanced systems like Net2 or Paxton10, entry to the building can be facilitated using a PIN, code, and/or proximity token (including MIFARE® and compatible tokens). Moreover, Paxton10 provides complimentary Bluetooth Smart Credentials for interaction with Entry panels, which require version 2.22 or higher.
