Description

The Net2 Entry panel is a comprehensive door entry solution, incorporating both entry system and access control features. This panel is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) and communicates with the system components using the IPv6 protocol, enabling straightforward ‘plug and play’ installation. Each panel works in conjunction with a dedicated control unit that interfaces directly with the door hardware.

This entry panel comes with a built-in keypad and a proximity token reader, allowing residents to gain access using either method. Installers can access menu options using a special engineer code or an engineer token.

The access control features are managed through the Net2 software, allowing for efficient administration.

When configuring the connection of the units, one can either set up a dedicated wired network or, if permitted, utilize the building’s existing data network. It’s important to ensure that if using the building’s network, it supports IPv6 protocol and PoE switch type to accommodate the system’s requirements.
