This pedestal is ideal for applications including automatic gate access, parking lot management, and perimeter security solutions. It comes equipped with a face plate tailored to the Swiftlane Swiftreader X mounting pattern, a heavy-duty base plate, and a sliding cover plate to conceal the mounting bolts securing the base.
Constructed from heavy-duty .120″ wall tubing, this gooseneck pedestal is engineered to endure vandalism and harsh environmental conditions. The pedestal is bent using an advanced mandrel bending die, achieving a precise 6″ center radius without collapsing the neck’s underside. Additionally, it undergoes a meticulous cleaning process involving a phosphoric acid wash, rinse, and drying to remove contaminants, grease, and rust. Finally, it is finished with a UV-protective, outdoor-rated TGIC polyester powder coating to ensure durability in any weather.
The pedestal package includes carriage bolt hardware and is carefully foam-wrapped and individually boxed to ensure safe shipping. Customization options for colors, heights, reaches, face plates, and base plates are available upon request, with potential additional costs and lead times.
