The Category 5e/Class D 8-position UTP jack module is designed to terminate solid 4-pair 24-22 AWG 100-ohm unshielded twisted pair cables without the need for a punchdown tool. This UTP jack utilizes a forward motion termination technique to enhance network performance by preserving the cable’s pair geometry and minimizing conductor untwisting. The termination cap is color-coded red to indicate Category 5e compliance and features a universal label with coding for both T568A and T568B wiring schemes.
