The 8-position industrial connector is designed for use in manufacturing environments and complies with the ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 standard for Category 6 performance. This connector features a bulkhead RJ45 jack and plug with an IP67-rated seal, providing robust protection against dust and temporary water immersion common in harsh industrial settings. The connector includes a tethered protective cap to maintain IP67 protection even when unmated, along with secondary seals on both the connector and plug for enhanced environmental resistance. Termination to a 4-pair, 24 AWG, 100-ohm twisted pair cable is tool-free, eliminating the need for a punchdown tool. Achieving an IP67 rating is ensured when paired with an IP67 and NEMA UL Type 12 industrial-grade, bayonet-style patch cord.
