Description
The Tensioned Advantage ceiling recessed electric projection screen series is expertly engineered with integrated ceiling trim to seamlessly conceal the rough opening, effectively eliminating the need for additional trim work post-installation. This series offers a two-stage installation process, allowing the screen case to be mounted during the rough-in construction phase and the screen surface to be assembled during the finishing phase. The inclusion of sliding installation brackets provides flexible mounting options, enabling easy attachment of the screen housing to the structure above a drop ceiling.
The new SightLine feature by Da-Lite introduces an innovative cable drop system to the Tensioned Advantage screen (available in sizes up to 177″ Diagonal 16:9 and up to 182″ Diagonal 16:10), creating the illusion of a floating screen. This suspension system employs 3 or 4 thin cables in a single roller design, eliminating the need for the traditional black drop border above the screen. Unlike the standard practice of specifying drop distance during ordering, the adjustable cables accommodate a range of drop distances from the ceiling to the top of the screen—up to 70″ (standard) or 10′ (optional)—making the ordering process straightforward. Additionally, the innovative design provides usable space above the viewing area, maintaining architectural aesthetics and allowing for strategic placement of cameras or speakers. With enhanced aesthetics, simplified ordering, easy installation, and height adjustability, this screen represents a significant leap beyond conventional options.
Furthermore, the Tensioned Advantage with SightLine is now available in a 21:9 Ultrawide Format, featuring part numbers that cater to the growing demand for this resolution in hybrid video conferencing solutions. The Ultrawide format is emerging as the preferred standard, ensuring all attendees—whether in person or virtual—are equitably seen and heard.
