The EX78000 Series by EtherWAN is a robust 12-port switching platform engineered to thrive in mission-critical and harsh environments, delivering reliable connectivity with advanced network management capabilities. This hardened switch platform supports IEEE802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE) and integrates superior switching performance essential for demanding industrial applications.
Featuring eight 10/100BASE-TX PoE ports along with two Gigabit SX/LX/BX/WDM Fiber ports with SFP options, the EX78000 Series offers versatility in connecting PoE-powered devices requiring different bandwidths and power levels. Each PoE port delivers up to 30W, with a total budget of 180W, making it ideal for devices such as outdoor PTZ dome cameras, wireless access points, and wayside communication systems.
Din rail mountable, the series incorporates EtherWAN’s proprietary Alpha-Ring self-healing ring technology, ensuring network resilience with a sub-15ms fault recovery time. It supports a comprehensive range of management features, including port security, IGMP snooping, port-based VLAN, GARP protocols, and link aggregation. Interfaces for management access include web browser, telnet, SSH, SNMP, RMON, TFTP, and RS-232 console. Designed to perform in extreme conditions from -40°C to 75°C, the EX78000 Series is built to withstand high ESD, shock, and vibration, fulfilling the needs of critical connectivity in industrial settings.
