Description

Available in both multimode and single-mode options, the FTV10D1 and FRV10D1 fiber optic transmitter and receiver enable the transmission of one unidirectional composite video channel alongside a bidirectional data channel using a single optical fiber. The inclusion of “up-the-coax” technology facilitates Coaxitron® pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) control data transmission across the entire length of the fiber, supporting distances of up to 48 km with single-mode fiber. Additionally, when utilizing single-mode fiber, these devices provide an optical power budget of 23 dB.

The FTV10D1 transmitter and FRV10D1 receiver are fully compatible with each other and other fiber optic models. Furthermore, the FRV10D1 receiver ensures backward compatibility with the FSV10D1 transmitter.

These FTV10D1/FRV10D1 units feature a plug-and-play design, promoting straightforward installation without the need for electrical or optical adjustments. Their modular design allows for flexible installation options; they can be rack-mounted in EURACK/USRACK chassis or used as stand-alone modules placed on desktops or wall-mounted (without requiring a wall mount kit).

For stand-alone and wall-mounted installations, external power is necessary for the FTV10D1/FRV10D1 units, which can be supplied using the recommended FEXTPS fiber external power supply.
