The HIGHWIRE Powerstar Duo optimizes existing cabling infrastructure by facilitating the connection of two IP cameras or other network devices, enhancing the utility of legacy systems. Its innovative ultra low-power design and efficient power delivery support extended-range Ethernet over coaxial cables, even when using low-grade cables like copper-clad steel (CCS) often found in older setups. This ensures that upgrades to coaxial systems can be planned with assurance, as the Safeview™ power level display provides immediate confirmation of reliable device connections regardless of cable type. With HIGHWIRE technology, users can expect consistent network performance without limitations, delivering up to 200Mbit/s bandwidth over distances of 300 meters (1000 feet) with RG-59 or 500 meters (1600 feet) with RG-11 coaxial cables.
