Description
Power over Ethernet (PoE) presents an efficient, rapid, and cost-effective method for powering network video devices without requiring separate power outlets or additional electrical wiring. By connecting PoE midspans and PoE splitters to the network, power is seamlessly supplied to network video equipment.
PoE midspans deliver power (up to 15.4 W per port) through Ethernet cables to network video devices equipped with PoE capabilities. For network video devices lacking built-in PoE support, a PoE splitter is necessary to separate power and data transmitted over the network cable.
