Description
Power over Ethernet (PoE) provides an efficient, rapid, and cost-effective method for delivering power to network video solutions, eliminating the need for separate power outlets and electrical wiring installations. By integrating PoE midspans and splitters into the network, power can be easily supplied to the connected video equipment.
PoE midspans deliver power, with a maximum output of 15.4 W per port, through Ethernet cables to network video devices equipped with PoE functionality. In cases where a network video device lacks built-in PoE capability, a PoE splitter can be used to separate the power and data transmitted over the network cable.
