The cost-effective Atlas Sound 135-18 equipment cabinet is engineered for reliable performance in a variety of technology installations. It features a spacious 35RU vertical panel design, with dimensions of 22 5/16″ in width and 18 1/2″ in depth, providing ample room for your equipment needs. The cabinet is constructed from durable 16-gauge CRS, ensuring robust support, and includes essential components such as a base, top panel, side panels, and fixed mounting rails crafted from 11-gauge CRS.
For enhanced security and ease of use, the 135-18 cabinet comes with a removable rear door, equipped with a cylinder lock and flush door pull handle. The design is particularly installer-friendly with a 6RU expanded opening on both the top and bottom of the cabinet, allowing versatile options for wire access and ventilation. These openings can either be left unobstructed or closed with standard vent or solid panels.
All models are provided with rear doors that feature quick-release spring hinges for easy 180° rotation, facilitating right or left-hand opening based on installation requirements. Should a front door be ordered, it will be uniquely keyed to enhance security measures separate from the rear door. Precision-aligned rack rails with a 10-32 tap and a recess of 11/16″ (17.5mm) are included and are conveniently marked with RU indicator hash marks to assist with accurate equipment alignment. The rails conform to standard E.I.A. spacing of 5/8″-5/8″-1/2″, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of industry-standard devices.
