The cost-effective AtlasIED 221-30 equipment cabinet is designed with industry-grade features, measuring 22 5/16″ in width and 30″ in depth, providing 21RU of vertical rack space. This sturdy enclosure features 11-gauge CRS adjustable mounting rails, while the entire series is crafted from 16-gauge CRS. This includes essential components such as the base, top and side panels, mounting rails, and a removable rear door equipped with a cylinder lock and flush door pull handle. Key benefits for installation include a versatile 6RU opening at both the top and bottom of the cabinet, which can be utilized for cable management and ventilation or sealed with a standard vent or solid panels for customization. All models boast quick-release spring hinges on the rear doors, allowing for a full 180° rotation for either right or left-hand access. For enhanced security, any optional front door will be keyed differently from the rear door. The precision-tapped rack rails are recessed 11/16″ (17.5mm) and feature convenient 10-32 threading with rack unit indicator hashes, aligning with standard E.I.A. 5/8″-5/8″-1/2″ spacing for seamless equipment installation. Conduit arrays are positioned on the top and bottom surface panels, as well as the back flanges, with flange arrays offering five knockouts (three 1″ (25mm) standard, and two 1/2″ (13mm) x 3/4″ (19mm) concentric). Surface arrays also include four knockouts: two 1″ (25mm) standard and two 1/2″ (13mm) x 3/4″ (19mm) concentric. Strategically placed stamped, perforated vents on all sides, as well as the rear door, enhance air convection. The cabinet’s surfaces undergo a phosphate pre-treatment to ensure optimal paint adhesion for the durable textured black epoxy finish.
