Description
The cost-effective AtlasIED 224-30 enclosure features dimensions of 22 5/16″ in width and 30″ in depth, providing 24RU of vertical rack space. This 224-30 series rack cabinet comes equipped with a pair of robust 11-gauge CRS adjustable mounting rails. Constructed from durable 16-gauge CRS, these cabinets include a base, top panel, side panels, mounting rails, and a removable rear door with a cylinder lock and flush door pull handle for added security.
For enhanced functionality, the cabinet offers installer-friendly features such as an expanded 6RU opening at both the top and bottom, which can be used for cable management and ventilation or sealed off with standard vent or solid panels. Each model includes rear doors with quick-release spring hinges that allow for 180-degree rotation for convenient right or left-hand opening. Optional front doors are available with a unique key system separate from the rear door for additional security.
The rack rails are precision-tapped to 10-32 specifications and recessed 11/16″ (17.5mm), featuring marked RU indicators to streamline equipment alignment. The rails conform to standard E.I.A. 5/8″-5/8″-1/2″ rack spacing. For versatile cable entry, the cabinet is designed with conduit arrays located on the top and bottom surface panels, as well as the top and bottom back flanges. Flange arrays include five knockouts: three 1″ (25mm) standard, and two 1/2″ (13mm) x 3/4″ (19mm) concentric. Surface arrays contain four knockouts: two 1″ (25mm) standard and two 1/2″ (13mm) x 3/4″ (19mm) concentric.
Perforated vents are strategically stamped on all sides along with the rear door to optimize air convection within the enclosure. The cabinet surfaces are phosphate pre-treated to ensure excellent paint adhesion with a textured black epoxy finish, providing a robust and visually appealing solution for various rackmount applications.
