The budget-friendly Atlas Sound 235-25 cabinet offers a robust solution for AV installations and is built to accommodate 35RU vertical panel spaces. This cabinet measures 22 5/16″ in width and 25 1/2″ in depth, featuring a construction crafted from durable 16-gauge cold-rolled steel (CRS). The design includes a base, top panel, side panels, and a rear door that is both removable and equipped with a cylinder lock and flush pull handle for added security.
For easy installation and versatile usage, this series boasts an expanded 6RU opening at both the top and bottom of the cabinet that can either remain open for cable management and ventilation or be sealed with standard vent or solid panels, depending on your specific needs. The rear door is equipped with quick-release spring hinges, allowing for a 180° rotation for convenient left or right-hand opening.
The adjustable rack mounting rails are constructed from 11-gauge CRS, featuring 10-32 precision-tapped holes recessed by 11/16″ (17.5mm) and plated for durability. These rails are aligned to standard EIA spacing of 5/8″-5/8″-1/2″, with inclusion of RU indicator hash marks facilitating precise equipment alignment. Note that any front door ordered will come with a unique key for enhanced security, distinct from the rear door.
