The cost-effective AtlasIED 240-18 rack cabinet boasts dimensions of 22 5/16″ in width and 18 1/2″ in depth, accommodating 40RU vertical panel spaces. Featuring robust 11-gauge CRS adjustable mounting rails, this rack series is crafted from durable 16-gauge CRS and includes a base, top and side panels, mounting rails, and a removable rear door with a cylinder lock and flush door pull handle. Designed for ease of installation, it offers several user-friendly features such as an expanded 6RU opening at both the top and bottom for flexible wire access and ventilation options, which can be enclosed with either vented or solid panels. All models include rear doors equipped with quick-release spring hinges, allowing for 180° rotation for either right or left-hand opening. Optional front doors have distinct key configurations for enhanced security. Precision-tapped 10-32 rack rails are recessed 11/16″ (17.5mm), with plated rails featuring RU indicator hash marks for streamlined equipment alignment and standard E.I.A. 5/8″-5/8″-1/2″ spacing. The cabinet is equipped with conduit arrays on the top and bottom surface panels as well as on the top and bottom back flanges. Each flange array consists of five knockouts, with three standard 1″ (25mm) and two concentric 1/2″ (13mm) x 3/4″ (19mm), while each surface array contains four knockouts, including two standard 1″ (25mm) and two concentric 1/2″ (13mm) x 3/4″ (19mm). Stamped and perforated vents are strategically placed on all sides, including the rear door, to ensure optimal air convection. The cabinet surfaces undergo a phosphate pre-treatment to promote adhesion of the textured black epoxy finish.
