The cost-effective AtlasIED 240-25 cabinet is engineered for efficient rack mounting solutions, measuring 22 5/16″ in width and 25 1/2″ in depth, with a capacity of 40RU vertical panel spaces. This rack cabinet features a pair of durable 11-gauge CRS adjustable mounting rails. Constructed from robust 16-gauge CRS, the series includes essential components such as a base, top panel, side panels, mounting rails, and a removable rear door fitted with a cylinder lock and flush door pull handle. Designed with installer-friendly features, the cabinet offers a 6RU expanded opening at both the top and bottom, which can be utilized for wire access, ventilation, or closed off with standard vent or solid panels.
All models come with rear doors mounted on quick-release spring hinges for easy 180° rotation accommodating both right and left-hand openings. For enhanced security, any front door ordered will have a different keying system than the rear door. The cabinet’s rack rails are precision tapped at 10-32 and recessed 11/16″ (17.5mm), complete with RU indicator hash marks to facilitate equipment alignment. They adhere to standard E.I.A. 5/8″-5/8″-1/2″ spacing.
Conduit arrays are strategically positioned on the top and bottom surface panels, as well as the back flanges, featuring five knockouts: three 1″ (25mm) standard and two 1/2″ (13mm) x 3/4″ (19mm) concentric within the flange arrays. Surface arrays include 4 knockouts, two 1″ (25mm) standard and two 1/2″ (13mm) x 3/4″ (19mm) concentric. For optimal air convection and cooling, stamped, perforated vents are incorporated on all sides and the rear door. The cabinet surfaces are phosphate pre-treated to ensure proper adhesion of the textured black epoxy finish.
