The cost-effective AtlasIED 244-18 server cabinet is designed for optimal network equipment storage, measuring 22 5/16″ in width, 18 1/2″ in depth, and featuring 44RU vertical rack spaces. This server rack includes one pair of 11-gauge CRS adjustable mounting rails for secure equipment installation. Constructed of durable 16-gauge CRS, the cabinet also includes base, top and side panels, mounting rails, and a removable rear door with a cylinder lock and flush handle for enhanced security.
For ease of installation, the cabinet offers an expansive 6RU opening at the top and bottom, which can remain open for cable management and ventilation, or closed with standard vent or solid panels. The rear doors, integrated with quick-release spring hinges, can rotate 180° for flexible right or left-hand opening. An optional front door can be installed and is keyed differently from the rear door for enhanced security measures.
The precision-engineered rack rails are tapped 10-32 and recessed 11/16″ (17.5mm), with RU indicator hash marks for streamlined equipment alignment, conforming to standard EIA 5/8″-5/8″-1/2″ spacing. Conduits are designed for optimal cable management, located on the top and bottom surface panels, and top and bottom back flanges. The flange configurations consist of five knockouts—including three 1″ (25mm) standard, with two knockouts at 1/2″ (13mm) x 3/4″ (19mm) concentric. The surface configurations include four knockouts, two at 1″ (25mm) standard, and two at 1/2″ (13mm) x 3/4″ (19mm) concentric.
The cabinet’s ventilation is enhanced through stamped, perforated vents located on all sides and the rear door, enabling efficient airflow. For a professional finish, the cabinet surfaces undergo phosphate pre-treatment to ensure proper paint adhesion, culminating in a textured black epoxy finish.
