Description
The cost-effective Atlas Sound 244-25 rack cabinet offers a wide range of features for professional installations. This 44RU enclosure is 22 5/16″ wide and 25 1/2″ deep, providing ample vertical panel space for server and networking equipment. Crafted from robust 16-gauge CRS, the cabinet includes a base, top panel, side panels, adjustable 11-gauge CRS mounting rails, a removable rear door with a cylinder lock, and a flush door pull handle. Designed with installation efficiency in mind, the 6RU openings at both the top and bottom of the cabinet can be left open for cable management and ventilation or sealed with standard vent or solid panels. The rear doors feature quick-release spring hinges that allow for 180° rotation, facilitating both right-handed and left-handed opening. When a front door is added to the configuration, it is separately keyed from the rear for added security. The precision-tapped 10-32 rack rails are recessed by 11/16″ (17.5mm) and include RU indicator hash marks, ensuring precise alignment of components. Rails adhere to the standard E.I.A. 5/8″-5/8″-1/2″ spacing specification. Conduit arrays are strategically placed on the top and bottom surface panels, as well as the back flanges at both ends. Each flange array comprises five knockouts: three standard 1″ (25mm) and two concentric 1/2″ (13mm) x 3/4″ (19mm) knockouts, while the surface arrays include two standard 1″ (25mm) knockouts and two concentric 1/2″ (13mm) x 3/4″ (19mm) knockouts. Stamped, perforated vents along all sides, including the rear door, promote optimal air circulation. To ensure a durable finish, all cabinet surfaces are phosphate pre-treated and coated with a textured black epoxy.
