The cost-effective AtlasIED 244-30 cabinet is designed for efficient server and equipment storage, featuring a width of 22 5/16 inches, depth of 30 inches, and an expansive 44RU of vertical panel space. This cabinet is equipped with a pair of robust 11-gauge CRS adjustable mounting rails, enhancing its installation flexibility. Constructed from durable 16-gauge CRS, the series includes a base, top panel, side panels, mounting rails, and a removable rear door with a secure cylinder lock and a flush pull handle.
The design incorporates several installer-friendly features, such as an expanded 6RU opening at both the top and bottom of the cabinet to accommodate wire access and ventilation needs. This opening can also be covered using standard vent or solid panels if desired. The rear door, included with all models, features quick-release spring hinges for easy 180° rotation, allowing for right or left-hand opening. When ordering a front door, it is keyed differently from the rear door to enhance security.
Precision-tapped rack rails with 10-32 threading are recessed 11/16 inches (17.5mm) and feature RU indicator hash marks for precise equipment alignment, adhering to standard E.I.A. 5/8”-5/8”-1/2” spacing. Conduit arrays are strategically placed on the top and bottom surface panels, as well as on the top and bottom back flanges. Each flange array consists of five knockouts, including three standard 1-inch (25mm) and two concentric 1/2-inch (13mm) x 3/4-inch (19mm) knockouts. Surface arrays consist of four knockouts: two standard 1-inch (25mm) and two concentric 1/2-inch (13mm) x 3/4-inch (19mm).
To optimize airflow and cooling, stamped, perforated vents are included on all cabinet sides and the rear door, maximizing air convection. The cabinet’s surfaces undergo a phosphate pre-treatment for enhanced paint adhesion, finished with a textured black epoxy coating.
