The 300 Series wall cabinets are expertly welded, offering center-section depths of either 12″ or 15″ to meet diverse network infrastructure needs. Constructed from robust 16-gauge cold-rolled steel, these enclosures feature three integral sections: a solid 2″-deep steel front door, an adjustable 12″ or 15″ deep center section with versatile mounting rails, and a 4-1/2″ deep rear door. They provide panel space openings from 7 RU up to 35 RU, accommodating a wide range of equipment sizes. Designed for seamless integration, the enclosures support custom mounting solutions, effective wire management, and reliable equipment placement with enhanced structural support. Finished in a sleek #962 black epoxy, these cabinets include adjustable front rack rails that are 10-32 tapped for precision equipment mounting, adhering to E.I.A. standard 1/2″ spacing.
For models with RU openings of 16RU, 24RU, and 35RU, center section mounting rail supports are included, ensuring stability for all configurations. Internal open raceways offer strategically designed cable pathways for neat cable management, while robust corner brace supports on the rear section (hinge side) facilitate secure wire organization with round 1-1/4″ diameter access holes. The rear section’s back face incorporates 1/4″ deep boss detents, granting contractors the latitude to install custom sub-plates—whether plywood, aluminum, or steel—for additional accessory mounting flexibility. These detents are strategically located on 12″ centers and their quantity varies by model height—four for 10RU, 12RU, and 16RU, six for 24RU, and eight for 35RU models.
The cabinets incorporate ample knockouts for conduit access, featuring up to 20 on the rear section except for model 307-12, which offers 16. The conduit arrays—positioned at the top and bottom of the back panel (except center-array on model 307-12)—as well as on the top and bottom back flanges, include configurations of four knockouts consisting of two 1” (25mm) standard and two 1/2” (13mm) / 3/4” (19mm) concentric. The flange arrays include six knockouts each, split evenly between 1” (25mm) standard and 1/2” (13mm) / 3/4” (19mm) concentric sizes. Boasting a 15″ deep center mounting section, adjustable mounting rails for unmatched flexibility, and punched vent patterns for optimal heat dissipation, these cabinets offer a sturdy, wall-mount solution that protects valuable equipment while conserving floor space.
