For essential ganging rack solutions, the Atlas 535-25 offers a newly engineered design tailored to the needs of the 500 Series Cabinets. Measuring 22 5/16 inches in width and 25 1/2 inches in depth, it provides 35 vertical panel spaces. Constructed with welded 16-gauge cold rolled steel (CRS), these cabinets are assembled and ready for immediate deployment. The innovative rear door design features quick-release spring hinges, allowing for a 180-degree rotation for right- or left-hand door opening. Refer to the chart on the back for optional front door model numbers. Should you select a front door, it will be uniquely keyed from the rear door to enhance security. Both the cabinet frame and rear door are vented, ensuring efficient air circulation and optimal heat dissipation.
The 500 Series Cabinets are designed with several installer-friendly features, including a 6 rack unit (RU) standard panel width opening at the cabinet top and multiple conduit arrays. This top opening can be left open for wire access and ventilation, partially covered with the ISOPANEL™ for non-conductive cable access, or fully sealed with two standard 5 1/4-inch (3 RU) panels. It also accommodates the installation of EFP Series fans. Multiple conduit arrays provide maximum access and are conveniently positioned on the top and bottom panel surfaces, as well as across the top and bottom back flanges of the cabinet frame. The surface array consists of four knockouts: two 1-inch (25 mm) standard knockouts and two 1/2-inch (13 mm)/3/4-inch (19 mm) concentric. Flange arrays offer five knockouts: three 1-inch (25 mm) standard and two 1/2-inch (13 mm)/3/4-inch (19 mm) concentric. For enhanced cable management, the cabinets include one pair of 12-gauge CRS adjustable mounting rails tapped at 10-32 (with the 544-30 model offering two pairs of 12-gauge mounting rails).
With integrated features like welded top and bottom panels equipped with panel-opening vents, and a removable rear door with quick-release spring hinges, flush pull, and cylinder lock, these cabinets accommodate front-to-rear mounting rail supports with slotted cutouts, enabling easy adjustment of rail depth and providing open raceways for a vertical cable pathway. The number of supports per side varies depending on the model: 40 RU and 44 RU models have four supports per side, while the 35 RU model features three supports per side. The cabinet surface undergoes a phosphate pretreatment to ensure proper paint adhesion. Finished in a standard textured black epoxy #962, the cabinets offer both robust functionality and a professional appearance.
