For essential ganging rack requirements, Atlas offers the newly designed 544-30 model, a part of the 500 Series Cabinets collection. This unit features a 22 5/16″ wide by 30″ deep structure with 44 vertical panel spaces. Constructed from welded 16 Gauge CRS, these cabinets are pre-assembled for immediate deployment. The rear doors are equipped with quick-release spring hinges, allowing them to rotate 180° for versatile right- or left-hand opening. For those interested in front door options, a chart with model numbers is available on the back. Note that if a front door is added, it will be keyed differently from the rear door to enhance security. Both the cabinet frame and rear door are vented to facilitate air circulation and effective heat dissipation.
The 500 Series stands out with several installer-friendly features, such as a 6 RU standard panel width opening at the cabinet’s top and multiple conduit arrays. The top opening offers flexibility for free wire access and ventilation, can be partially covered with ISOPANEL™ for non-conductive cable access, or entirely closed using two standard 5-1/4″ (3 RU) panels. It’s also ideal for accommodating an EFP Series fan. The strategically placed conduit arrays ensure maximum accessibility, positioned on the top and bottom panel surface, as well as across the top and bottom back flanges of the cabinet frame. Surface arrays are composed of four knockouts, which include two 1″ (25 mm) standard knockouts and two 1/2″ (13mm) / 3/4″ (19mm) concentric ones. Flange arrays feature five knockouts, consisting of three 1″ (25 mm) standard and two 1/2″ (13mm) / 3/4″ (19mm) concentric.
