Experience enhanced accessibility and security with the newly redesigned 2RU tilt-out wall cabinets for 19″ equipment by Atlas-Sound. These versatile welded enclosures can be either surface or recessed mounted, complete with a trim ring, and include a 3RU panel opening above the main compartment for connector panels or power distribution. The AWR2W model offers a usable depth of 4″, while the AWR3W provides 5.75″, making them ideal for housing remote amplifiers and control equipment. The series is crafted with a robust 16-gauge cold rolled steel (CRS) door frame and a locking tilt-out door, which securely closes against the rack faceplate. Designed to prevent tampering, the door is internally attached with two pin-style hinges. It can be opened in two positions—tilt-out for operation or at a 90° angle for equipment installation and maintenance by releasing side catches. The units include two steel safety catch cables that support the door at 90°. The front panels feature 45-degree mitered edges for a sleek, flush look, and the back box, made of 16-gauge CRS, is equipped with six concentric knockouts of 1/2″ and 3/4″. The series is shipped fully assembled and ready for installation, with panel mounting holes that accommodate 10-32 hardware. The top RU provides a usable depth of 20″ (50.8cm), while the bottom RU offers 17.25″ (43.81cm).
