Description
The WMA Series wall enclosures are crafted from 16-gauge steel, featuring a welded construction with an 18″ deep center section and adjustable mounting rails. The 4-1/2″ deep rear section is designed for optimal equipment housing. These network cabinets offer panel space from 10 RU to 35 RU, catering to a wide range of data center and IT infrastructure applications. The enclosures are engineered with customizable mounting options, efficient cable management, and robust structural support, all finished in a durable black electrostatic powder coat.
Each unit includes adjustable front rack rails tapped to 10-32, adhering to the standard E.I.A. 1/2″ spacing. Integrated hat channels ensure stable rack rail support and allow for fixed positioning. The enclosures feature top and bottom removable 3RU panels in the center section, compatible with EFP Series fan panels for enhanced airflow or isolation panels for power management.
A 12.5″ x 12.5″ cut-out on the back panel facilitates easy cable access and integration with mounting surfaces. The back panel is separately boxed, allowing contractors to dispatch the rear section to job sites for installation by other trades. An exclusive alignment frame offers additional support across the entire center section, with extensive internal bracing for superior cable management.
The enclosures offer left or right hinging of the center section, irrespective of orientation, through a mirror image back panel design. Multiple knockouts on the top and bottom accommodate conduits and wireless antennas. A new side-lock security system ensures a seamless and secure connection between the center section and back panel.
Modern innovations in design allow for a simplified installation process, which can be safely performed by a single individual. Rack rails are marked with hash marks indicating increments, and each unit ships with a plated rack rail set and (100) 10/32 x .75″ rack screws with captive washers. Optional rear rack rail pairs are available for customization.
The enclosures include cutouts for ES Series single or dual fan panels (ships with 3RU blank panels installed for default configuration), and they are UL 1678 listed, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards in commercial and industrial environments.
