The following instructions provide a detailed guide on integrating the 5883 into a Silent Knight Addressable fire control panel system. For comprehensive programming instructions, please refer to the respective control panel installation manual.
The 5883 functions as a relay interface board featuring 10 multipurpose Form C relays. These relays can be employed to trigger essential functions such as voice evacuation systems, elevator recall mechanisms, or HVAC fan shutoff, among other applications.
Activation of each relay is achieved through an open collector input from a controlling device, like the 5880.
