Description
The 6855 remote annunciator is designed for seamless operation and programming of Honeywell Silent Knight fire alarm control panels (FACPs) from any location within the fire alarm system. This device conveniently displays system status indicators for comprehensive monitoring.
Housed in a secure, key-controlled cabinet, the 6855 offers both security and accessibility. It eliminates the need for a code or firefighter’s key to silence or reset the panel, featuring distinct scroll buttons for alarm, supervisory, and trouble conditions.
Communication with the main fire alarm control panel is facilitated via an RS-485 connection. During normal operation with AC power, the Power LED remains lit. Other LEDs are activated in response to alarms, supervisory signals, troubles, system silencing, and AC power interruptions.
**COMPATIBILITY**
The 6855 is compatible with Honeywell Silent Knight FACPs, including:
– 6820: Addressable fire alarm control panel supporting up to 1,110 addressable points
– 6820EVS: Addressable fire alarm control panel with an emergency voice system, supporting up to 1,110 addressable points
– 6808: Addressable fire alarm control panel with up to 198 addressable points
– 6700: Addressable fire alarm control panel with up to 100 addressable points
