Description
The HWF2-COM Series LTE/IP fire communicators serve as advanced commercial fire alarm communicators, offering both single and dual path options. They support Contact ID reporting with any fire alarm control panel (FACP) equipped with a built-in dialer. These communicators directly connect to the primary or secondary communication ports of a fire panel’s digital alarm communicator transmitter (DACT).
Users can choose from three selectable reporting paths: LTE cellular only, IP only, or IP primary with LTE cellular backup. All signals from the HWF2-COM Series are transmitted to a network control center, ensuring secure and encrypted delivery of Ethernet data packets through either a customer-provided Internet connection or the LTE cellular network to the designated central monitoring station. This network control center is fully redundant and subject to 24/7 monitoring. Installation and programming are straightforward using the handheld 7720P Programming tool.
