The HWF2-COM Series LTE/IP fire communicators are advanced single or dual path commercial fire alarm communication devices designed for seamless Contact ID signaling with any fire alarm control panel (FACP) equipped with a built-in dialer. These communicators integrate effortlessly with the primary or secondary communication ports of a fire panel’s digital alarm communicator transmitter (DACT). Users can choose from three configurable reporting options: LTE cellular only, IP only, or a combination of IP as the primary path with LTE cellular as the backup. Signals transmitted from the HWF2-COM Series are directed to a secure network control center, which expertly handles encrypted, cybersecurity-enhanced Ethernet data packets via either a customer-provided Internet connection or the LTE cellular network, ensuring delivery to the designated central monitoring station. The network control center is fully redundant and undergoes constant 24/7 monitoring. Installation and configuration are streamlined with the use of the handheld programming tool, simplifying the setup process for installers and technicians.
