The CELL-CAB-FL(C) and CELL-MOD(C) cellular communicators are advanced options for enhancing connectivity in Fire•lite Endurance Series addressable fire alarm control panels (FACPs). These GSM communicators deliver reliable cellular communication, serving as an effective alternative for central station reporting. By integrating with the FACP’s internal communicator, they enable dual-path communication through both cellular and IP channels, eliminating the need for separate dialer capture modules and complex programming. Featuring battery backup provided by the control panel, these communicators enhance overall system efficiency. Compact and easy to install, with a programmable supervision interval of 1-60 minutes, these models can be placed remotely from the fire alarm control panel using a 4-wire serial bus to ensure optimal reception. Both the CELL-CAB-FL(C) and CELL-MOD(C) models meet UL 864 and NFPA 72 fire code standards for sole, primary, or backup communication methods. They utilize AlarmNet® for a UL-listed connection to central stations. The CELL-CAB-FL(C) is designed with a GSM communicator housed in a secure metal enclosure with a lock, key, and external antenna. Alternatively, the CELL-MOD(C) features a plastic enclosure for the GSM communicator and offers an external antenna option for enhanced connectivity.
