Fire-Lite’s MS-9600LS(E) and MS-9600UDLS(E) are intelligent addressable Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACPs) that offer a compact and cost-effective fire safety solution loaded with advanced features. These panels incorporate the latest fire protection technology, seamlessly integrating both modern and legacy 300 Series devices. Leveraging the patented LiteSpeedTM technology, these systems efficiently poll 10 devices simultaneously to detect and process new or updated information. This technology ensures that a fully loaded panel, supporting up to 636 devices, can report incidents and activate notification circuits in under 10 seconds. Compatible with standard twisted, unshielded wire spanning up to 10,000 feet per loop, each Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) loop can accommodate up to 159 addressable detectors, including varieties such as photoelectric, ionization, and heat detectors, as well as up to 159 addressable modules featuring monitor, dual-monitor, multimonitor, control, and relay functionalities.
The system’s FLPS-7 power supply is housed separately, while all other electronic components are integrated onto a main circuit board. These boards are mounted on a quick-removable chassis within a metal cabinet, allowing for efficient field wiring installation and subsequent electronics setup with just two bolts. The MS-9600UDLS(E) model comes with a factory-installed DACT-UD2 Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitter, communicating system statuses like alarms or AC loss to a Central Station via the internet (optional IPDACT) or public telephone network. Additional plug-in modules provide specialized functionalities, while available accessories include LED, graphic and LCD annunciators, reverse polarity/city box transmitters, digital alarm communicators/transmitters, SLC expansion modules, as well as local and remote upload/download software and remote power expansion options. These units are FM APPROVED and meet UL ANSI 864 standards.
