Description
The MRP-2001 is a robust six-zone Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) engineered for single and dual hazard deluge and preaction systems. It ensures reliable fire detection, signaling, and protection in commercial, industrial, and institutional settings that require water-based releasing solutions. The panel is compatible with System Sensor’s i3 detectors, which are conventional smoke detectors capable of transmitting maintenance alerts when cleaning is needed and a supervisory signal if ambient temperatures drop below 45°F (7.22°C). Additionally, the FACP supports conventional input devices including two-wire and four-wire smoke detectors, manual pull stations, waterflow sensors, tamper switches, and other normally-open contact devices. For extensive compatibility details, consult the Fire-Lite Device Compatibility Document.
This system features four outputs that can be configured as Notification Appliance Circuits (NACs) or releasing circuits. It includes three programmable Form-C relays, pre-set for Alarm, Trouble, and Supervisory signals, along with 24 VDC special application power outputs that are either resettable or non-resettable. The MRP-2001 monitors all wiring, AC power, battery charger, and battery levels to ensure optimal performance.
In the event of activation by a compatible smoke detector or any normally-open fire alarm initiation device, the system alerts through audible and visual signaling, displaying alarm details on the panel’s LCD, sounding the piezo sounder on the FACP, and triggering the FACP alarm relay. It can also engage an optional module for remote station alerts or auxiliary control functions.
The MRP-2001E variant provides the same features as the MRP-2001 but supports a 240 VAC connection. Unless stated otherwise, the specifications outlined apply to both 120 VAC and 240 VAC versions of the panel.
