Description
The FireLite MMF-302-6 six-zone interface module creates a connection between an advanced fire alarm control system and a conventional two-wire detection zone. It utilizes a shared Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) input across all modules, while the initiating device circuits use a common external supervisory power supply and ground. Each interface module operates independently, except for the initial module which is addressed from 01 to 154, with the successive five modules automatically assigned higher addresses. The design allows for the deactivation of a maximum of two unused modules. It is crucial that all two-wire detectors monitored are two-wire compatibility-listed with the interface modules. The MMF-302-6 communicates the status of a two-wire detector zone to the fire alarm control panel, indicating conditions such as normal, open, or alarm. It also supervises both the detector zone and the external power supply connection. Each module features panel-controlled bicolor LED indicators, which can be programmed to blink, remain on, or turn off.
