Description
The inputs on the SK-ZONE-6 module interface with a unified Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) signaling line circuit (SLC), and the initiating device circuits utilize a shared external power supply. However, each module input functions independently from the others, allowing for adaptability. Up to two unused inputs on the SK-ZONE-6 module can be disabled if necessary.
This module transmits the status of a zone of two-wire detectors to the FACP, with status conditions categorized as normal, open, or alarm. The SK-ZONE-6 oversees both the detector zone and the external power supply connection. It is essential that all monitored two-wire detectors are UL listed for compatibility with the SK-ZONE-6 module.
