**Application**
Custom-built IP66 and NEMA 4-4X protective and environmental enclosures provide robust protection for OSID imagers and emitters, safeguarding them from dust and water ingress in industrial settings.
These enclosures are designed for use with single emitter-to-imager systems.
Constructed from ABS materials, the glazed housings feature a glass window that minimizes attenuation of UV and IR beams, ensuring effective performance.
Installation and maintenance are straightforward, with the imager housing featuring two glands for simplified wiring. The emitter housing supports both battery-powered and 24V wired emitters.
To access the FTDI socket on the imager, the lid must be removed. A separate cable inlet located directly beneath the FTDI socket is typically sealed but can accommodate an additional gland supplied with the enclosure for servicing or upgrading purposes.
Both the imager and emitter housings are equipped with three pre-drilled screw connections to facilitate secure mounting.
An additional glass window at the base of the imager housing allows visibility of the Alarm and Fault LEDs from below.
To counteract condensation, both housings can be fitted internally with heaters of at least 5W.
