The neutral white finish and discreet, low-profile design of this thermal detector allow it to seamlessly integrate with any ceiling. The plastic enclosure is compatible with standard octagonal or square electrical boxes and comes with a trim plate for neat installation. The unit extends no more than 1 inch beneath the finished ceiling surface.
Equipped with a bi-metal disc as its heat-sensing component, the alarm is triggered when the ambient temperature surpasses the specified threshold. The thermal detector will automatically reset only when the air temperature drops below this set point.
