The durable plastic housing is compatible with standard octagonal or square electrical boxes and features a trim plate for a clean installation. The detector projects no more than 1 inch below the ceiling surface, ensuring minimal visual impact.
Utilizing a bi-metal disc as its heat sensing component, the detector activates an alarm when ambient air temperature surpasses its specified threshold. The detector will only automatically reset when the air temperature falls back below the set level.
