Description
Models SD365 and SD365-IV are advanced plug-in smoke detectors that integrate a photoelectronic sensing chamber with addressable-analog communication technology. These smoke sensors deliver an analog signal representing smoke density to a fire alarm control panel via a communication line. They feature rotary dial switches for configuring the sensor’s address. The SD365-IV is compatible with both LiteSpeed and the Classic Loop Interface Protocol (CLIP) communication modes. Depending on the capabilities of the control panel, potential features include:
1. The sensor’s LEDs can be configured to operate in three modes—on, off, and blinking—with selectable colors including red, green, or amber, all controlled by the panel.
2. The remote output can either be synchronized with LED operation or independently managed.
3. Each device is point-addressable with support for up to 159 addresses.
