Description
Xtralis’ Open-area Smoke Imaging Detection (OSID) represents a cutting-edge solution for efficient and cost-effective smoke detection in expansive, open environments necessitating standard sensitivity. In its most basic setup, the OSID system incorporates a single imager, functioning much like a camera with an extensive field of view, paired with either a wired or battery-operated emitter positioned roughly opposite it within the secured zone. This emitter transmits both infrared and ultraviolet coded light beams to the imager. Any disruption in light signals caused by authentic smoke particles prompts the imager to trigger an alarm.
