Description
**Pull Station Overview**
The SWIFT® addressable pull station is a dual-action, manual fire alarm pull station featuring a key-lock reset and a single addressable alarm initiating input. Designed to seamlessly integrate into various environments, it mirrors the aesthetic and durability of traditional wired pull stations. This device communicates with the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) via the SWIFT mesh network and gateway, and is powered by four batteries that provide a UL-listed two-year lifespan.
**Efficient Installation**
Installation is straightforward using a surface mount-compatible mounting plate. The pull station snaps securely into the plate and is further secured with three screws.
**User-Friendly Operation**
In emergency situations, the pull station is easy to operate with its PUSH IN/PULL DOWN handle, which locks in place to indicate activation. “ACTIVATED” appears clearly on the handle in bright yellow to signal operation.
**Regulatory Compliance**
This wireless pull station complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) and ADA requirements for a maximum pull force of 5 pounds, as well as ANSI/UL Standard 38, ensuring accessibility and safety compliance.
**Advanced Wireless System**
The SWIFT wireless system offers intelligent, addressable devices that provide secure, reliable communication to the FACP across a Class A mesh network. This wireless system is ideal for installations where traditional wired solutions are impractical, such as those hindered by concrete walls, buried wires, or hazardous materials like asbestos. The system supports both wired and wireless devices on the same FACP, providing an integrated solution that enhances installation flexibility.

**Reliable Network Design**
The SWIFT mesh network employs a child-parent device relationship, offering dual communication paths per device. This redundancy ensures that even if one device fails, others maintain connectivity, forming a resilient communication network. Mesh restructuring automatically optimizes communication routes to ensure the strongest possible network pathways.
