Ademco’s manual fire alarm stations are specifically designed as non-code single action devices suitable for UL listed fire alarm systems. The visually appealing die-cast aluminum-alloy enclosure complies with ADA pull requirements and has undergone testing by Underwriters Laboratories. For compliance with ADA standards, manual stations should be installed at heights less than 48 inches above the floor for direct wheelchair access, and less than 54 inches for side approach wheelchair access.
The 5140MPS-1 model includes a key reset feature that ensures authorized reset actions. This key is compatible with and designed to match Ademco control systems. The 5140MPS-1 features a terminal block for secure connections, while the 5140MPS-2 model comes with an Allen hex fitting and wire leads. Each manual station is equipped with two alarm deterrent break tubes; one is clearly visible from the front, and the spare is stored securely within the unit.
