Ademco’s manual fire alarm stations are engineered as non-code single-action systems suitable for UL-listed fire alarm applications. Designed with a visually appealing die-cast aluminum-alloy housing, these stations adhere to ADA pull requirements and have undergone rigorous testing at Underwriters Laboratories. For ADA compliance, manual stations should be installed no more than 48 inches from the floor to allow front wheelchair access, and no more than 54 inches for side wheelchair access.
The 5140MPS-2 model includes an Allen hex fitting and comes with wire leads for easy installation. Each station is supplied with two alarm deterrent break tubes; one is visible at the front, and a spare is securely stored in an internal compartment within the unit.
