Description
The AL400ULACMCBR is a power supply solution designed for the security and access control industry. It efficiently converts a 115VAC 60Hz input into eight (8) individually controlled outputs, offering either 12VDC or 24VDC for Fail-Safe or Fail-Secure applications, with a total output capacity of 4A at 12VDC or 3A at 24VDC. This device is compatible with various activation methods, including open collector sinks or normally open (NO) dry trigger inputs, allowing seamless integration with Access Control Systems, Card Readers, Keypads, Push Buttons, PIR sensors, and more. The unit is engineered to distribute power to a wide range of access control devices such as Magnetic Locks, Electric Strikes, and Magnetic Door Holders, supporting both Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure operations. It offers flexibility in power sourcing, capable of operating on a single common power source (factory installed) that supplies both the circuit board and locking mechanisms, or on two independent power sources — one dedicated to the board and the other to auxiliary devices. Additionally, the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) Interface facilitates Emergency Egress and Alarm Monitoring, while also allowing for auxiliary device triggers. The fire alarm disconnect capability can be individually configured for any or all of the eight (8) outputs to enhance security protocols.
