The EQ Series equipment cabinets present a versatile solution for installations requiring dispersed components like power supplies, audio amplifiers, and various I/O modules. These cabinets deliver exceptional ventilation for devices, including amplifiers and field power supplies, and provide ample space for cable or fiber-optic media between rows. Their compact design facilitates the integration of multiple system components within a singular enclosure.
Featuring a perforated blank door, these equipment cabinets enhance ventilation. However, they do not accommodate the installation of backbox-mounted dress plates, making them unsuitable for equipment typically accessed by system operators, such as control systems, annunciators, or remote microphones.
The EQ cabinets maintain the same external dimensions as the well-known CAB-4 Series cabinets but differ in that they lack a dedicated battery row. The illustrations below depict the row spacing in EQ series cabinets.
