Description
The EVAX-25, EVAX-50, and EVAX-100 panels are designed to integrate seamlessly with any Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP), delivering 25, 50, or 100 Watts of speaker power respectively. Each EVAX panel is equipped with its own power supply and battery charger, requiring 120 VAC connection and standby batteries for operation. The panels are enclosed in a surface-mount or semi-flush backbox featuring a hinged, key-locked door for added security.
A built-in digital message repeater (DMR) enhances the EVAX panel’s functionality, with field-configurable options for alarm tone selection, automatic message repetition, and a 6-hour delay for AC power failure reporting. The integrated paging microphone is essential to the system, and its removal triggers a “Trouble” condition that is conveyed both locally and through the FACP.
These panels incorporate all essential features necessary for a robust voice evacuation system. With options for adding zone splitters, selection switches/inputs, remote microphone panels, and expander modules, the EVAX panels can be tailored to meet the diverse requirements of various applications.
